This is a lovely feminine card, that would suit Mother's Day just as well as birthday.

Christmas ATCs
This is quite a departure for me, but I'm taking part in a Christmas ATC swap so I thought I'd share my first ever ATCs!
ATC Recipe:
Paper and Card: Oyster plain card, Best Creations, flocked snowflake card
Tools: Tonic Studios Indulgence Elegant Mannequin Tag Die, Snowflake Simplicity Punch, Grand Calibur
Embellishments: double satin ribbon, rhinestone crystal, mini pom-poms
So, this one is called Christmas Dress. I used a red flocked snowflake card blank that I've had in my stash for ages as the base for this ATC and also cut out the dress from this by tracing around the edge of the mannequin shape on the tag die. I attached mini pom-poms to the hemline, red and clear crystals to the neckline and a ribbon belt with a crystal.
I cut the Mannequin from black velvet paper that I had backed onto black cardstock.
My second ATC is called Snowflakes. I cut the base from oyster cardstock. I trimmed a piece of patterned card to size and then punched through it with my Simplicity Snowflake punch to create spaces for my snowflakes to be inset. I mounted this onto the base. Then I punched 5 snowflakes from oyster card, but for 2 of them, I covered the card with an offcut from double-sided adhesive sheet. Being a geared punch, the Tonic Simplicity Punch made light work of going through both layers. I then peeled off the covering layer and glittered the 2 snowflakes. Finally, I inlaid the snowflakes onto the ATC and added a computer-generated greeting, cut out using a tiny tag die.
I hope you've enjoyed these mini treats, please do let me know what you think, as this has been quite a different project for me! Pin It Now!

Halloween Scary House Mouse
Today’s card demonstrates how you can adapt your existing stamps to use for one-off events, without needing to invest in specialist stamps that will only get occasional use.
Card Recipe:
Stamp: Joanna Sheen House Mouse Ice Cream Stamp set
Colouring Mediums: Memento London Fog, Promarker Pens
Paper & Card: Best Creations, plain from stash
Tools: Silhouette Cameo, Big Shot Pro, Spellbinders Grand
Embellishments: Felt Spider Web Coaster, hand-made Pearl & Crystal Hat Pins, owl charm, Banner cut from Cameo, organza ribbon
With a little imagination, you can easily adapt your stamps. From Joanna Sheen’s Ice Cream stamp set, I took the little party house mouse (pictured right) and “halloweened” him by adding a witch’s hat cut out on my Silhouette Cameo to hide his party hat. Ta Da (picture left) I’m really pleased with the effect, I think he's really bewitching - both cute and scary!
Whilst I am talking about adapting things, the spider’s web is from a set of felt spiders web coasters that I bought very inexpensively from Asda’s. My top tip is to buy up these sorts of embellishments when they are marked down after the event, for use the following year! That’s what I did with the gorgeous Best Creations cardstock, although I then had to wait almost a full year to use them (patience not being my strong point)!
I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Cards For Men - Orange & Black
I love to read your comments, so if you have enjoyed looking at this card (or even if you haven’t), do leave a comment, I do appreciate it! Pin It Now!

Glorious Dress Card
This card was a swap-card for a forum Birthday Card Swap that I run. Not only was it the first time that the recipient had participated in a card swap, but it was also her 60th Birthday as well. So the card needed to be “a bit special”, I hope you think so too!
The background image is from a lovely set of Best Creations papers that I’ve been “saving” for a special card, I’ve stroked them lovingly for about a year, but the time had now come to use them.
The stamp is by Stamps Happen and is called, appropriately, Glorious. Have I mentioned that I love dress stamps? Once or twice, or maybe a tad more! I coloured the image with Promarkers onto oyster cardstock. The stamp has a fine-line outline, but I trimmed the coloured image close to crop this out, as I didn't want to obscure too much of the background
I inked the edges and stamen of the large gardenia mulberry flower with a promarker to tie it with the stamped image. Tucked behind the mulberry flowers are a pair of Teardrop Hatpins with glass pearls and bicone beads(perhaps you’d like to take a look at my hatpin tutorial)?
As this card was for a special birthday, it was dispatched in a custom-made coordinating box, for ideas on making special card boxes, do visit my card box-making tutorial.
Post-script
After writing this post, my forum friend very sadly had a bleak diagnosis, she is very much in my thoughts, perhaps you can think of her too, and say a little prayer. However, my goodness me is she a fighter, and she has beeen fighting harder than Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Henry Cooper rolled into one.
